Britain’s Future
About Chris
I’m Labour’s MP for Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven. I was born and raised in Brighton and my parents grew up in Peacehaven. I’m a Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket holder and I care passionately about the City and the local community. I’ve worked for the Labour Party for much of the last 15 years, fighting for better housing, the NHS, a green energy revolution and a better Brexit deal.
14 years of Conservative failure has left our public services at breaking point. NHS waiting lists are through the roof. The cost of living crisis has hit families hard. Rents and mortgages have soared. The climate crisis is being ignored.
As your elected MP I’ll work hard to ensure a fairer, greener future for our City. I’ll be a national voice for local people, and I’ll deliver Labour’s plans to tackle the cost of living crisis, cut NHS waiting lists and build more homes.
